It is safe - if your fan is in good condition.

There is no greater risk of running in normal conditions - the fans at a low operating cost and are designed to be carried out over a longer period.

However one should the body of the fan and power cord to check any visible signs of damage before use. The first day after you check the fan for a few hours, only that there is a strange noise and smells, and the blower motor does not seem to hot - if you have one of these problems should not use the fan at all and the first revision anyway.

I live in a tropical climate, and it is common practice to stop here, the fans run 24 / 7 too. I'm a fan in my office running 12 hours a day and the fans during the night at home(also see our air conditioning bills and less dependent on the planet Earth!). Never heard the warnings or the fire that (before a fan runs differently than the heating!)

It depends on your brand. I can say clearly that if the measure of U
Make and model. few Chinese and Indians who are almost all models are dangerous.

Pedestal fans is a brush motor with less Low Battery low, low speed and low power consumption. But overall, you
can go further with him, if there is a good brand. without headache. Do not believe much of the temperature, the usual. If you check the approximate noise or camp.

Good luck .........
